Troopers Hill, St George, Bristol

Troopers Hill is a hillside nature reserve located in the St George area of east Bristol. It offers fantastic views of Bristol and is home to a wide range of wildlife. The hill was part of a large royal hunting forest in the 1600s and was later used for copper smelting, coal mining, and fireclay mining.

There is no charge for admission. Troopers Hill is open at all times.


Parking

There is no car park at Troopers Hill.


DISABLED ACCESS

Troopers Hill is accessible for wheelchairs.

The entrance at Malvern Road (BS5 8JA) provides the easiest access for those with limited mobility and from here there is a

wheelchair-accessible track/path to the top of the hill so that everyone can enjoy the wonderful views.
